Just when we thought ResMed couldn't outdo their very popular Mirage Quattro, they surprised us with the debut of the ResMed Quattro FX Full Face CPAP Mask. This ResMed full face CPAP mask builds on the proven platform of the original Mirage Quattro, adding new features to deliver an even more comfortable and lightweight full face CPAP mask solution.
The ResMed Quattro FX allows full face CPAP mask users something most masks cannot - a clear field of vision. It's lightweight and unobtrusive design means not only is the mask more comfortable to sleep in, it's also easier fit, easier to clean, and easier to wear.
Many CPAP users find the adjustment to a full face mask to be a bit more difficult due to the larger size of the mask and the area it covers on the face; the ResMed Quattro FX lessens the anxiety that can come with wearing a full face mask. The minimal weight of the mask combined with the comfort design proven in ResMed masks and cushions means that problems associated with claustrophobia, tearing masks off while sleeping, non-compliance, and more can be relieved.
The ResMed Quattro FX Full Face CPAP mask has a built in quick release to allow CPAP users to get up during the night, without having to remove their CPAP mask, as well as having easy to release headgear clips that allow the mask to be removed quickly and without having to worry about readjusting headgear.
This CPAP mask is excellent for mouth breathers, and can be used with CPAP and BiPAP therapy at any pressure setting. Replacement cushions are available for longevity of your ResMed Quattro FX CPAP Full Face mask.

The ResMed S9 series offers an intuitive, colorful, and stylish look. With four clearly marked buttons and a large color display, adjusting settings has never been easier. A large push dial allows you to scroll through screens and make changes easily. The large color screen allows you know where you are scrolling and what setting you are adjusting by changing colors. The info button allows you to view compliance data and reports with a single push, and the large start button offers an easy one touch start.
The sleek low profile design makes your CPAP look less like a sterile medical device and more like a standard bedside clock radio, further encouraging you to be consistent in using your therapy.
A new feature for the S9 series machines is a climate control. This feature adapts to the specific environment of your bedroom and adjusts the heat and humidification at the mask, so you receive the exact heat and humidification that you select on your machine. ResMed used their special ClimateLine Heated Tubing that has a thermostat at the end of the tubing to measure the temperature at the mask. If the temperature has dropped between the humidifier and the mask, the tubing will heat the air to your select temperature. By doing this, ResMed has nearly eliminated rainout caused by changing temperatures in your tubing. Also, your H5i humidifier will measure the ambient temperature and humidity in the bedroom and adjust its output accordingly.
With all of the advantages of the SlimLine Tubing, the ClimateLine Heated Tubing works in harmony with your H5i humidifier to give you measured and controlled heat and humidification at the mask, virtually eliminating rain out. (Can only be used with the Climate Control System)
The S9 AutoSet combines an intelligent algorithm with Easy-Breathe expiratory pressure relief (EPR™) to dynamically adjust pressure for maximum comfort. Using ResMed's time-tested APAP technology, AutoSet continually monitors breathing, adapting breath by breath to always deliver the lowest therapeutic pressure, improving comfort and sleep. The S9’s enhanced AutoSet algorithm now differentiates between obstructive and central sleep apneas (CSA) and responds appropriately. You can be confident that you're always receiving optimal therapy at the lowest, most comfortable pressure.
By enhancing the Easy-Breath motor with axial air-flow, foam, and noise isolating materials, ResMed has created an ultra quite CPAP machine. Measured at 24dBA (that’s no louder than normal breathing!), you or your bed partner will never be awoken by your noisy CPAP machine.
Both the S9 AutoSet & the S9 Elite have CSA and OSA detection. The enhanced Easy-Breathe motor features small diameter lightweight impellers that provide lower inertia. This enables the motor to track your normal breathing waveform and produce the small oscillations in pressure required to detect CSAs. It uses the forced oscillation technique (FOT) to determine the state of the airway during an apnea. When an apnea is detected, small oscillations are added to the pressure to measure airway patency. The CSA algorithm uses the resulting flow and pressure to measure airway patency and differentiate central and obstructive events. Your S9 AutoSet has the ability to compensate for these events with its enhanced autoset algorithm.
All the S9 series machines come with onboard and removable data storage. With a touch of the info button you will see a snapshot of your therapy. Data is stored on board for up to 365 days and includes average usage, used hours, days used, run hours, pressures, leak and AHI information. The removable SD card provides detailed graphical data and high resolution flow data that your physician can read.
By reducing pressure during exhalation, the patented EPR Easy-Breathe technology makes the adjustment to CPAP therapy easier and more natural for the user.
Do you ever have trouble knowing if your mask has a sufficient seal? With the Mask Fit option, your machine will run a quick diagnostic to let you know if your seal is sufficient. Simply select what type of mask you are using (Full Face, Nasal, or Nasal Pillows) put your mask on, from the Home screen push and hold the dial for three seconds. Your machine will perform a short 3 minute diagnostic and you will see on the display an “Adjust” or “Good” indicator, letting you know if you have a good fit.
