Initially, I had problems with nostrils hurting in the morning. This goes away on its own, but if you have some good hypoallergenic cold cream (like Kiehl's) put a LIGHT coat on your nostril area and it should be bearable. Eventually, your tongue will learn to seal to the top of your palate so you won't need a chin strap, and even slight open-mouthed sleeping can occur without losing the air flow. It's very important to wear the right sized pillows, though. I was initially diagnosed as needing the "large" size, but thankfully, they put a set of "mediums" in the kit, too, and those are perfect. It all takes some getting used to, but it's worth it. Also, make sure you have a fresh filter every month.
