This ResMed nasal CPAP mask is a revolution in the CPAP world, with only four parts, a scaled-down forehead pad, and an innovative one-size-fits-most approach. The ResMed Mirage FX CPAP Mask is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to wear. It combines your favorite Mirage mask features with the newest CPAP mask technology available from ResMed.

One effortless fit, one simple solution, one mask for all – this describes the appeal of the ResMed Mirage FX perfectly. In a time where CPAP treatment has become more and more complex, ResMed has taken a bold step by simplifying your mask design and sizing needs. With only four components, the ResMed Mirage FX Nasal CPAP Mask is easy to assemble, easy to fit, and, most importantly, easy to sleep in.

This mask is the Mirage FX for Her CPAP Mask, a design built for the more petite head size generally seen in women. The same mask frame and cushion are used for this design (it does not incorporate a smaller cushion than the Standard size Mirage FX), but it includes a smaller, pink headgear that may work better for some women (especially those with below-average head size). This mask is also available in the standard ResMed Mirage FX model with can be purchased in two cushion sizes and with standard-sized headgear.

The winged, “butterfly” forehead support is new to the ResMed CPAP mask line. Reducing the possibility of pressure point pain or red spots in the morning, the forehead pad design in the Mirage FX is a welcome feature for many CPAP users.

I have just been wearing a cpap mask since Nov 2010. I started with the nasal pillow which was a little scary since I was unable to feel the air going into my nose. Since my nose is my biggest issue that was bad, it plugged my nose and I fought for air. Then I went to a nasal mask which I fell in love with because I could feel the air going into my nose. Much better I didn't feel like I was going to suffocate during my sleep. Three months ago when I got a new mask from my provider it was different. It was a Fisher Paykel 407 it was too hard too tight and too small it made my nose sore and gave me slight head aches each morning. It did not leake seemed to have a perfect fit but like I said, I like to feel the air entering my nose, plus I woke up all hours of the night. Yesterday I went for a new fitting and came home with the ResMed FX for her. Must say last night was great! no head ache this am, no facial marks from the head gear. The most important thing of all I could feel the air entering my nose so for the first time in months I had a great nights sleep. The mask is very light weight it disperses the the air all around the mask and my husband does not get blown away by the the hurricane wind coming out through the holes. Also I must have found it really comfortable I found myself laying on my tummy which I can only do once I take the mask off. Another nice feature to clean the mask this am just squeeze the two little nubs together and pull through the plastic holder it is a self contained unit nose piece. And a plus for me I was not dried out even though I have the humidifier, I was not plugged up due to my sinuses and I never woke up because I had stopped breathing! what's better than that.

I agree with this comment. Best mask I have worn so far, but is slightly too large for me. the mask sits againest m eyes and if I pull it down, it presses my upper lip down. I too would like to have a petite version.

I was really excited about this mask coming to the market and thought I would love it. I have previously been using a petite sized comfort gel mask. The problem with the mirage fx is that the mask only comes in two sizes. I know the company sees this as a positive for easy sizing but the regular size that comes with the "for her" version is too large for my face and the part of the mask closest to the bridge of my nose actually sits against my eye and my eyelid hits it. The "smaller" size head gear is much better than the standard size gear that comes with most masks which I usually have to sew to make fit. I am going to be going back to my old mask. It is really comfortable, esp. the new style of forehead head piece. The mask is just too big and they need to offer a petite version.

This mask is the best that I have had in 11 years of using a cpap machine, no air leaks, very comfortable.

My first mask was a nasal pillow type. It didn't work at all for me---didn't stay in place, lots of leaks, and a sore nose. Then I got the Resmed Mirage FX and it was perfect. I haven't had any leaks. It's very lightweight and comfortable and I'm sleeping for the first time in a long time. I LOVE this mask.

totally agree with the people who comment about the ResMed FX for Her nasal cusion being too big. i wear the standard size and it is too long from top to bottom, as I feel it on my lower eye lashes and on my top lip. Because it is so long, I find that I often have leak issues--it just doesn't seal completely for me. Also, I have the same problem with the harness attachment coming unhooked. That said, I'm still using it since purchasing mask after mask in search of the perfect fit is expensive. The best on I had was a Fisher and Paykel model that has been discontinued--dang! Wishing ResMed would make a petit sized nasal cusion.

I loved this mask...at first. But after 4 months, the darn thing keeps coming undone, the mask itself slips out of the plastic holder because there is nothing to secure it there except two useless little nub things. When that isn't happening, the velcro from the lower straps keeps letting loose which changes the fit and air starts leaking out the bottom with a very loud squealing noise that freaks me the heck out at 3 in the morning. My insurance paid for this mask. Then I was laid off and now am uninsured. Now I have to struggle every single night with this stupid thing because I can't afford to buy a new one out of pocket. I'd almost rather not deal with the stupid machine at all since I'm not sleeping anymore anyway. Really disappointed.

I must be the "Lone Ranger". My mask constantly comes apart between plastic holder and the Spongy mask. I have the same problem with the harness attachment coming unhookede mask constantly during the night. "for her" version is too large for my face and the part of the mask closest to the bridge of my nose actually sits against my eye and my eyelid hits it. and leaks air into my eyes.

I have been using this mask since the spring (5 to 6 months) and found it fairly comfortable. The only 2 minor issues I found with it is the fact that the harness attachment gets dismounted easily from the top mount and that instead of belt like clips they used some "J" hooks to hold the button attachments. It is a little clumsy to use especially in the dark. Like the light way and the ease of cleaning. Easy to pack in a suitcase.

I am a respiratory therapist as well as a CPAP user. This is my go to mask of choice. I can't wear nasal pillows and found this mask to be the bomb!!! I do have a suggestion for those who say the size isn't right. Order one of the other sizes before giving up. They make a small size which is what worked best for me. good luck and sweet dreams...This mask rocks!
