Newly released from Respironics, this OptiLife kit includes the new alternative pillow option, the direct-sealing cradle cushion. Designed to cover the entire tip of the nose, the cradle cushion is a good alternative for individuals who have irritation from the pillows inside each nostril. The kit does also include nasal pillows for the traditional OptiLife experience.
The Respironics OptiLife Nasal Interface CPAP Mask System is the answer to patients who are comfortable with nasal treatment but find support options to be unmanageable. The OptiLife Mask features a unobtrusive headgear system that relies mostly on the chin, whereas most nasal interface systems use only the nose for support. This OptiLife kit includes everything you'll need to operate the mask, including a combination of nasal pillows and new direct seal cushions.
NOTE: The headgear for the OptiLife does not function as a chinstrap.
Revolutionary headgear system doesn't obstruct the eyes, so patients can read or watch TV before they go to sleep.
Several tube orientation options, allowing the patient to find the most comfortable position.

What a pleasure it has been to sleep with this new nasal pillow. No more waking up in the middle of the night with pain on the bridge of my nose. No more waking up with redness around my nose and face. I highly recomend this system to anyone who has experienced trouble with thier old nasal mask. I can watch TV, read and enjoy sleeping on my back or side with this new nasal pillow.

I was so glad when I read about this, but I have to sleep on my side and disappointed that you could not.

I use pressure level 19 with CPAP. And so far this is the only mask so far that can handle it. It is comfortable and works great. The only drawback is sleeping on your side is not possible due to the brace. YOu lay on that brace the nasal pullows get pushed asside.
