After about a year trying to use a mask that would leak air in your eyes, or go all day with a red spot on your nose, i found this, and it works. I feel 100 percent better. This is great. Not real sure, but i don't think the mouthpiece will cause TMJ.

This is a great concept but has a couple big drawbacks. For me, putting the special gel in my mouth at 140 degrees to mold it to my teeth was horrible. Also, the device has many different possible adjustments and I found that the nylon screws that hold it in place don't do a very good job so I was constantly readjusting it. Then, in the morning, my teeth ached because I had been inadvertently biting down on the hard plastic mouthpiece all night. I have since stopped using it. What a HUGE waste of money!

comfortable but too expensive for replacement parts. Also you do not bill Medicare which makes purchasing these items very difficult.

I didn't try this particular one but a well advertised one on the radio. Just from having the mouthpiece in my mouth all night for several months I developed TMJ that I never had before! Not Good!

If TMJ is a problem, then you fit the mouthpiece incorrectly. Took mine to dentist and he made a minor adjustment. I was about to give up when I found this. Biggest problem is insurance companies are still viewing this as experimental.
