I have used all sorts of chin straps trying to find one that will keep my mouth closed when using the CPAP...since I use the nose pillow type head unit, unless the chin strap can keep my mouth closed, air escapes and dries out my mouth overnight. The next morning it feels like my tongue is a prune. This particula "Premium" strap seems to work the best..so I've rated it a four because it still allows a little air to escape but it's the best I've found so far. The elastic in it is only good for about 4 or 5 months, then it loses it's elasticity and you need to order another.

This one stays in place and feels secure enough to stay in place wher ei don't have to worry about it during the middle of the night. I have woke up many nights trying to readjust the mask and chin strap but not since I started using the Premium.
This is the one I origoinally got from my doctor and I am back to it after trying everything under the sun. I should stayed with it.

There is no perfect chin strap, but this one works well for me. It lasts about 3 to 4 months before the velcro wears out. The problem is that Medicare requires 6 months use before they will allow before they will allow you to buy new one. This becomes an out-of-pocket expense.

This is junk. I've been through 2 in 4 months. They stretch out of shape within the first week of wearing them and rip easily. Dont waste your money. Get the Halo chin strap!

This Chin Strap is the best design to keep my mask in place and not gape. The problem is it's made out of crap material and falls apart. I don't understand how they can use such shoddy material. I am going to see if a seamstress friend can make me one out of better material.
