I agree, the XL worked best for me as well. I have tried several, trying to find the best fit without squeezing me head leaving marks from the headgear, mask, and the chin strap! This is best for those of us with larger brains!

Glad that this is available in xl. The regular adjustable one I bought was too small.

I have been using this chin strap for about 6 months. I liked it but the Velcros lose their grab. It's more so if the strap is washed. It would be nice if the Velcros attach to other mating Velcros instead of to the fabric.

I bought this on the reviews that the regular one is too small and the XL is needed for an average person, but I found it to be the opposite: I'm 5'11", 200 lbs with an average size head and found it way to big. I was able to secure it, but just barely. Still, it worked well most of the time, although not always - probably because of the fit. Maybe I'll try the regular size later, but I instead just bought the "Chin Strap - Deluxe" (the one that looks like a towel) to try next; will let you know.

Concept of the mask is good. Velcro tabs are the issue. Both the top and back tabs failed to hold after approximately three months of use. Provided a replacement unit with same experience. Request velcro pads be produced with a more aggressive velcro plus larger at both pads at both usage sites. The back velcro tab separated on the replacement head gear after two months of use. Transitioned to the Chin Strap - Deluxe in combination with the Sunset Deluxe chin strap to integrate into a single functional chin strap eliminating mouth breathing issues.

In 3years of using chin straps I found the xl is best for me. My strap broke at the velcro and a little crazy glue saved the day. That was 3 months ago and still working.
