Not at all happy with the headgear, Do not hold well to the mask due to either design in mask or the Headgear. Quality very poor.

The top headstraps are too narrow for the mask and continously slide out of the mask slots. The headgear straps need to be wider to stop this from happening. VERY annoying!

Agree with other review. I've been using this mask for several years and have ordered replacement strap before. This newer version has thinner straps and they always come undone. The prior version of the product was much better made and less frustrating to use. Please bring back the older, higher quality version!

I have used the Resmed cpap for 7 years and the only problem was the strap slipping out of the mask.. The solution, tape the slots and problem solved..

Like the product. been using it for years but the back bottom strap seems to have a "planned obsolescence" feature where the inner and outer layers, the only area that has this feature seperates. this causes a very uncomfortable digging into the neck from the lower portion. Meanwhile the upper (fuzzy) portion where the velcro connects, curls up making it difficult to attach the bottom straps. Anyone who has ever used this will agree with me. They could make this a thicker, single ply area but why would the want to. It keeps the production line going and the money coming in. I still buy it but I am not fond of this obviously planned in, break apart feature.

There is only "one size fits all". Over the years it has morphed into a lesser product that doesn't last as long before needing replaced. I would be willing to pay a higher price for the previous, higher endurance and more comfortable version.

I agree, the straps are too thin, the material stretches out too quickly. Bring back the original!

Agree with all 3 reviews. Straps are to thin and slip off way too easy. also the back of strap should be much thicker. Not worth the price.

New straps are too narrow and they slip off easily and often. They don't last long.

As others have stated, the straps will slip over time. I took a close look at mine which always slipped on the same side. Wear and tear caused the 'holding' area of the strap to deteriorate. when stretched tight, that area narrows enough to cause slippage. When unstretched, the straps look like a good fit. Try flipping the straps around so the bad area fits into the lower clips on the mask to get some extra wear out of it.

Is there any other choice that fits this mask?
Ive gone through 3 or 4 of these since the orriginal. The rear bottom strap keeps getting increasingly thinned and stretched. feel like it will snap at anytime, so I just keep reordering this. Always the same symptom.

My model 407 feels very good, does not rub and does not come undone. Maybe the one with bad ratings got the wrong size. I really like how this feels.
