About the skin markings... just buy Moleskin from the pharmacy (usually used on toes for corns and bunyuns).. take a whole sheet and wrap it around each side. They are self stick pieces of mileskin felt and it feels like velvet. Better than toweling sleeves.. BEST nasal mask ever!

I also had problems with the headgear - solution was to make a toweling sleeve for the plastic sides - result no marking of my face and a good nights sleep - bunt

The customer service person I spoke to on the phone recommended this mask to me over the swift. I've been using it for well over a month now, and I have to say that I'm extremely impressed. This is the most comfortable mask that I've ever used! Thanks Fisher & Paykel!

Wow, I too really really like this mask! I used another nasal pillow type mask but rw-awoke numerous times a night readjusting it to seal leaks. I sleep straight now with this product. TY

I have used at least 5 masks in the past 2 years dues to leaks, sores on lips, nose, etc. The Opus is by far the most comfortable and reliable- insofar as mainining a tight seal. All of a sudden, CPAP is no big thing anymore. Thanks to the people down under.

I have used this mask for 4 months now and I am very pleased with it. You need to adjust it well to prevent leakage during the night but, it's very light weight and comfortable. However the face straps will leave marks on your face. I read to wrap moleskin, purchased at the local drug store around the straps. It worked great, it was more comfortable than the orginal straps and, no marks in the morning. I don't know why this is not included when you purchase this mask. It would make the Company a much better product! I used the Swift LT for 1 month also a good mask but,it rubbed the end of my nose so, had to switch to another. This mask was better for me. Would suggest giving it a try if your looking for a good light weight mask.

I'm 75 and new to CPAP. Tried 3masks and had problems with all, but the fewest with the opus! I'm a side sleeper and wake up with marks. I'm going to try the moeskin idea. If it doesn't work, who cares! I'm 75!

Used this mask for 2.5 years. The least clautrophobic one to me. The only change needed is the rigid mask frame that leaves deep indentations, not marks, near my temple. It is glued to the flexible headgear straps. Moleskin didn't really work, plus at the cost, I shouldn't have to do this. They need to simply redesign the rigid mask frame so it does not extend so far up the face. To the side of the nose is far enough to hold the pillow in place. CEO think about redesign, it's cost effective as well for the company using less plastic. I had leaks but it easily tighens so that can't happen again. The headgear (soft strap part) is excellent. I am meeting with my RT to see if there is a softer mask frame w/ nasal pillow. This site should direct us more easily to such.I can't tell what's hard plastic by the photos; and full description is lacking in those type of important details.

I have only been on a CPAP for about a year and half now and have been searching for a great mask. I used a full face for my sleep studies and it was horrible. Started with a Swift LT for her, it was okay, then on to a a Puritan Breeze which was much better, then to a Swift FX, also okay, then on to the Hybrid (terrible) but wanted something when I had nasal congestion. I am now on the opus 360. It is the most comfortable mask I have found. It does leave some marks, but I think it is a small price to pay in exchange for the comfort. I like the option of having the hose overhead or down and the contoured facial straps are very nice. It is quiet and has minimal to no leaks. All the great reviews made me try this mask, so thanks to all of you who take the time to write these reviews, they were very helpful in making my decision. I think I've found the mask I've been searching for.

This is THE FIRST AND ONLY MASK a first time user of BiPAP or CPAP machines should be given. I tried all kinds of masks and always wound up removing them during the night. The OPUS 360 allows the user to NOT USE IT OVER THE HEAD, BUT STRAIGHT DOWN FROM THE NOSE. This keeps your eyes clear to watch LATE NIGHT TV with an unobstructed view. Thank you Thank you Thank You

Can not get comfortable with it. Have used for quite some time. Hissing noise sounds like a leak but unable to find it regardless of how I position the mask. I finally just remove it. Also very uncomfortable with the nozzles stuck up my nose.

The RT that I work with recommended I try this when I first started needing to wear a mask. Gone are the claustrophobia feelings, and with my fibromyalgia, on flare up nights, I can't take pressure on my face or much noise. Extremely quiet, and less than 2 oz, I think I can handle that! I have used many 360's now, and just love them. Every time I try anything else, I always end up coming back to this one. It's a great mask, excellent seal, and so light and comfortable. I am a side sleeper, and this seems to stay in place no matter how often I may move around.

I am a first time user and find a few problems. First, the mask leaves deep marks on my face and it takes a few hours for them to go away. Second, it would be nice if there was and elbow with a universal which fitted into the end of the tube when wearing ti on top of the head. Thjis option would the tube from the CPAP to not force the mask to the side because it is coming from the top of the head and hitting the wall.

Pillows do not sit and seal properly around nostil - constantly leaks, pillow design sits up to high inside nostril sticking into backside of nostril causing discomfort. Been using for over a month and havn't had one decent nights sleep since. I want my Resmed headgear back but my supplier stopped carrying their products... boooo!!!

I have used a CPAP and this mask for 1 week and find it very comfortable. I have a beard & mustache, therefore the full mask was useless. This mask is perfect. Does not obstruct my view, light weight and fits perfectly. I'm a side sleeper and had no problems using this device. Easy to fit, easy to clean.

I have been using a CPAP for 5 months. This mask is very comfortable. I sleep on my back or roll to either side with no problems. The first time I reassembled after cleaning I got confused but figured it out easily after looking at the instructions that came with the unit. I am going to try the moleskin/toweling idea but the marks go away quickly after a warm shower. There is no rubbing or discomfort.

I can't find anything wrong with this mask. It's comfortable, it stays in place in the night even though I turn from side to side, it goes on easily. I second a prior reviewer in thanking those who wrote reviews. You are the ones who convinced me to try this mask. Before I had a full face mask and hated it so much that I just didn't wear my c-pap for over a year. (Yes, I know I shouldn't have done that!) With this mask, I'll never quit again.

Well, I think it is wonderful. I tried a full face mask, then a nasal mask and had trouble with keeping them on for over 4 hours. I am just getting used to the Opus but already sleep all night.

I love this nasal mask! I've worn different masks since 2000. The first was a hard one that left terrible imprints on my face. Now you ask, why 4 stars? I'm told to clean all the parts every day and I had a terrible time disconnecting the ends of the little tube and after stuggling day after day with it, I finally wore a hole in the tube. I had to put duct tape over it. Now, to clean it, I have to remove the tape every day. I confess that sometimes I don't do it. Can I buy another tube? My supplier said I have to wait until Nov.

The customer service rep I spoke with recommended this mask. I like it much better than the ComfortSelect mask I wore before. The headgear is much better,more comfortable and not so confining. I don't have the air blowing out around my nose and eyes like I did with the nasal mask. Moleskin on the side straps takes care of the problem of having indentations on my cheeks in the morning. Your customer reps know their business!!!

I love the mask. My problem is the headgear. The plastic on it cuts into my face and has caused an irritation. If it didn't have the plastic on it, it would be wonderful !! I had been on the Swift mask for a couple of years, and when I turned over in my sleep the mask would turn and I wouldn't get the full benifit of the C-Pac, causing me to wake in the AM feeling like I did before I was on the C-Pac.
