The head gear is great. No more ripping the velcro over and over to readjust it each night - clips WWT?
But the cushion just does not work more than a few hours for me. Wash it, put it on the mask, adjust it then in 4 hours its leaking with a flatulent noise. Tighten it till your eyes pop out to stop it then you wake up with a headache and indentations in your face.
It's just too thin and floppy to serve as an all-night seal. It needs some beefing up to do the job right.

I have been using CPAPs for about 7 years now. I've tried a number of different designs and brands. If you HAVE to use a full face mask (for whatever reason), this is the best I've used. If you OVER tighten the mask, it will leak like a seive. The "trick" is not over-tightening, but finding an adjustment (between strap tightness, mask position, forehead adjustment, etc.) that works best for YOU, then keeping the whole thing clean.

I have been using the resmed Quattro full face mask for 6 years now. It will take the average user 3-6 months to really get the feel of how to properly adjust everything. I ripped it off my face at night for the first 6 months before I got used to it. The secret is to wash the mask, cushion and water container EVERY DAY with Ivory liquid dishwashing soap. Believe me I have tried every soap on the market. This soap does not dry out or make the soft cushion weaker like the other soaps. My cushions last 6-8 weeks now compared to 30 days using Dawn soap. I think the other soaps had a stronger detergent that was damaging the silicone masks. The Ivory soap should make the cushion and mask parts feel "squeaky" (clean).

The mask is better than the previous mask I used, however, I agree that the mask starts leaking after 4 to 5 hours of wear. I use a mask liner that helps. I get my mask through VA, they say that a replacement cushion is needed every 6 months, your company Candice, when on-line chat with her said I should replace the cushion every 3 month. I agree with her, every 3 months.
