While I like this nasal mask very much for its comfort and air supply features, I find that the DreamWear headgear slips off my head while sleeping affecting the air seal. Also, when I try to tighten the headgear to avoid slippage, I find that the velcro does not hold well to the headgear and oftentimes "snaps" off. If the company would somehow "strengthen" the headgear and material used, this mask would deserve a much higher rating.

I agree. The Velcro is so poor and can't imagine it lasting more than 2 months of light use (I am on my 3rd one in a year out of pocket). The Velcro does not last long, does not wash well even according to directions) and after 6 weeks the Velcro adhesion is so poor it not only will not only constantly lose its grip and start falling apart, it will completely stop you from being able to use you CPAP machine. For almost $40 with today's technology, you would assume Velcro could last more than a few weeks, like it does on cheap craft projects. No such luck. Total rip off. Two stars instead of just one because when it's brand-new it does the job. That's about it. Shame on the company.

I agree with all of the other reviews regarding poor quality of the Velcro. However, in addition to that issue, the design itself needs modification. Something as simple as angling the strap lower so it can get below the crown on the back of the head would be a tremendous help. As it is now, I constantly have to push it down during the night to maintain the air seal.

Yes, I agree. I love this mask! It's so much better than having a big, clunky plastic mask with a hose in the middle of your face. The silicone tubing is soft, the nasal pillows almost pleasant. But I'm 3 months in and the velcro will barely hold! Disappointing.
Can't wait to try the micro-cpap Airing device next year. If it works, no more cords or headgear at all.
