I've had a cpap machine for over ten years and the remstar auto is the best possible machine build. I love it and get a great nights sleep. The warranty work has not been a problem---I think the problems have been mine. I transported the remstar with H2o in the humidifier chamber and this isn't good. The machine is money well spend. The smart card means no more sleep studies.

When I use this machine I feel amazing the next day! Even though many people told me I wouldn't need the C-Flex (or A-Flex) feature, I really think it makes a huge difference the ease of using my CPAP... with A-Flex on this machine, I really do use it more and for longer periods of time. Also, the auto feature and smartcard means I am constantly getting the best possible therapy for my sleep apnea. Wish it were a bit smaller... my Puritan Bennett travel machine is quite a bit smaller with humidifier.

I've used this machine for over 2 months. The first night I woke up after about 5 hours and thought I've had enought of this. 20 minutes later I put it back on. That was the only time I've removed it in the night. I average over 8 hours a night usage. This is my first machine and I can't see any reason why it won't be my last. Completely satified.

This is my first CPAP. Have been using it for about 3 years. It is compact and easy to use. The built in humidifier is great as opposed to a stand alone unit. I rarely fill the humidifier, but when empty it acts as a muffler to quiet the unit. It is light and easy to travel with. If you remove the humidifier it packs even smaller. My Dad has a different unit (not Respironics) that does not have a built in humidifier. His unit w/out the humidifier is bigger than my two pieces together. I see no reason to change from this unit. I like it alot and will stick with it.

I love this machine. It has changed my life! It is very quiet but I'm only at a 10 so maybe that makes a difference. I like the fact I don't have to have the humidifier. Everything is easy to use on this machine.

Kinda sad they do not make this machince anymore. I really like this machine and have had it for over 12 years with no problems. How can you tell it is loud when you are in flat line REM sleep? I am thinking that some users are having a mask leak more than the machine making noise.

I went to Talladega for the 500 mile race in April 2011. The Campsite had no Electric services for my Pop-up Camper. I used a 12 volt deep cycle battery for 6 days with my Remstar M and it ran great. Then I left for Cheatum Dam in Tennessee to follow the nationwide races in Nashville Tennessee. I put the Battery on a slow charge and the battery showed almost fully charged after being used for 6 days without a charge
