Respironics has redesigned their sleep therapy system to give patients more of what they want, including the proven comfort of C-Flex. Respironic's patented C-Flex technology offers a more comfortable way to deliver sleep therapy by taking the work out of exhalation. C-Flex tracks and reacts to every breath throughout the night, increasing your comfort as you exhale. The new M Series platform is even easier to use, provides a small and sleek platform, and has a less obtrusive profile with tube connection in the back of the unit. This is the smallest Respironics CPAP available!

I believe the M series machine provides excellent service but in my opinion has two flaws. The carry bag is not designed to be used with a full face mask. There is just not enough room to pack it. The second issue is in the past two days I have had two machines quit in the middle of the night. The blue lights start flashing and the service required message appears. There is nothing I can do to reset the machine. Even when calling into the corporate number provided there was nothing that could be done. As I am on vacation it put me in a very uncomfortable position for several nights until a new machine could be overnighted to my location.

My husband has had his machine for about a week now. He still snores occasionally even with the mask. The machine is so loud (think vacuum cleaner!) that I'm not sleeping. Whoever invented a machine intended to be used during sleep didn't think about noise levels! I used to average about 5 or 6 hours a night before he got the machine, now I'm lucky if I get 3 or 4 unless I take a sleeping pill that leaves me hungover the next day. NOT acceptable. Any suggestions on muffling the noise before I accidentally on purpose back the car over it?

I'm not sure why all the previous reviews have been so negative. I have had this unit for 4 months. It replaced a 7 year old unit. Mine is very quiet compared to my old one. The blue lights are a great replacement for a night light. This unit makes exhalation easy in comparison. I'll agree with the case being too small for a mask, but this is really a very good CPAP.

I am very pleased with my unit. It is so quiet that my wife must stop and listen closely to see if it is working. I like the ramping option and am always asleep before it increases the pressure to the prescribed level. It uses less water than I expected, but I have no trouble finding distilled water and find it relatively easy to refill. This was the unit that my service company recommended and I am more than satisfied with their service. I am sleeping better than I ever thought I would. The unit is small and does not take up much more space than my alarm clock. My only suggestion would be to lengthen the hose to a standard 8 feet versus the 6 foot hose that comes with the unit.
