i LOVE this tube, the warm moist air coming thru to the mask feels great on my throat. CAUTION! Do NOT get the end of the hose that connects to the humidifier wet! The whole tube accidently fell into the water in the sink that I was using to clean the hose. The end of the hose fell in momentarily, I grabbed it out, dried it off----but the tube was RUINED! It will not heat up at all now. This tube is NOT SUBMERSIBLE IN WATER!

I use this. I like it over the grey tubing I have used for the last 3 years. Only after a recent redo of my sleep study and change of DME did I discover ways to greatly improve my experience with CPAP. My pressure was set way to high and also discovered how many options are available to help do this as well. At my sleep study, i used light weight tubing and a light weight mask, Nuance, with very light and narrow tubing. Also I was introduced to the online world of products and opinions. My prior DME had limited choice and I had just accepted them as my only option because they were assigned to me. I have gotten this tubing wet which was before reading the previous post. While I won't do this again, mine still works fine. The person who did my sleep study also recommended using Resmed lightweight tubing on my Respironics machine if I wanted a cheaper non-heated lightweight option. She said the diameter of the connector was the same and would fit. Is this true?
