Computer analysis of facial characteristics was used to design the silicone cushion, which provides an excellent seal. The exhalation vent is whisper quiet and is designed to direct air parallel to the patient’s face and not at a bed partner. The forehead support has locking notches that allow a patient to easily change the angle and keep the support in position.
