Important Note for Sandman Software and Windows Vista Users
Windows Vista users may encounter a problem with the memory card reader. Vista, be default, will install a generic driver for the memory reader device. This generic driver will not work with the Sandman software. In order to install the correct driver, please follow these steps.
With the Sandman install CD in the drive, and the USB Reader in a USB slot.
Right Click on MY COMPUTER in the Start Menu and click PROPERTIES
In the upper left corner of the new window, click on Device Manager
Left click to expand SMART CARD READERS
Right click on USB MEMORY CARD READER (or similar)
Left click on UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE.
At this point, Windows may be able to automatically find the driver on the CD-ROM, or you may have to manually tell Windows to search your CD-ROM for the driver. If you an unsure, both ways can be attempted.
After installation of the Cardman 6121 Driver has completed, you should be able to use the Sandman software.
