Manageable way of handling the hose from mask to machine so that it is out of the way while sleeping and turning etc. Is this of interest?????

First, I have never purchased anything from this company until today. Secondly, I spoke to a resp. therapist about a new mask (which I ordered) and told her the following: I have been using acpap for about 18 years. My first machine still works, as does the second, not so the 3rd - its switch broke. The machines do their job. In all of those years, I have just retired my 3rd mask. Simple cleaning and maintenance will keep your maask in proper form. I know insurance covers replacements, sometimes with a co-pay or deductible, but would it not be better to keep one's money in one's own pocket. Clean and breathe better and feel better.

I HAVE TRIED TO SLEEP WITH MY MASK ON FOR A WEEK NOW AND CAN'T GO TO SLEEP.

I LIE THERE AND BREATH OK, BUT IT HURTS MY NOSE AND EVEN WITH A SLEEPING PILL I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WEAR IT ALL NIGHT.

NOW I AM TOLD MEDICARE WILL NOT PAY FOR IT, UNLESS I CAN SLEEP AT LEAST 4 HOURS A NIGHT WITH IT ON.

HOW DO I SLEEP? ANY IDEAS? HELP!!!

I was about to give my CPAP away it was so uncomfortable, but I finally got used to it and now I wear it nightly, for the entire night.

Have you tried adjusting your mask?  Have you tried using a different type of mask?
