Thank you for contacting CPAP SUPPLY USA.COM
The only way to know how much pressure your CPAP is generating is to have it checked with a manometer. You may want to check with the company that you purchased the CPAP from. If the machine is delivering the pressure that is prescribed, there may be other concerns.
1. Your husband may be breathing through his mouth causing him to snore and feel like he is not getting enough air. A full face mask or possibly a chin strap my help this problem.
2. Has your husband experienced significant weight gain over the past year? This may mean it is taking more pressure to keep his airway open.
The pressure should only be changed after it has been checked and also you would need a physican's order to change the pressure.
I hope this helps.
