I posted this in the "Masks We Wear" forums, but then noticed this question and answer thread!  I have been on CPAP for about a year now, using the same mask the whole time (Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit 431).  I am looking into getting a new mask (possibly the Respironics Comfort Gel Full Face Mask), and was wondering what the average length of time is that people tend to use a single mask.

Most masks fit better and seal better for the first 3 months.  Most insurances will allow replacement of the mask cushion every 3 months.  I recommend new masks every six months.

I like the Comfort gel full face mask.  I think it has a lot of features for comfort and better fit.
