Thank you for contacting CPAP SUPPLY USA.COM

Many new CPAP users experience allergy like symptoms.  CPAP can irritate your sinuses.  A heated humidifier should help.

Also most CPAP machines can use two filters, a foam filter and also a hyperallergenic filter.  Both filters should be cleaned and replaced on a regular basis.

If you are currently using a humidifier, be sure to clean this properly, if not cleaned properly it can grow bacteria.  I recommend daily rinsing out the humidifier with a mild dishing detergent and replacing the distilled water daily also..  Allow your water chamber to dry out daily also. You should soak the humidifier chamber at least once a week in 1 cup of white vinegar and 3 cups of hot water for 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Be sure to clean your tubing at least weekly also.  Your tubing can also be soaked in the vinegar and water solution.also

Replace your water chamber at least every 6 months and tubing at least every 3 months.

Clean your mask at least weekly.

    I hope this will help.
