  • Full-face mask and beards

If money were no object... Is there a full-face mask out there anywhere that will perform better than the ResMed Quattro and Fisher-Paytel FlexFit 432 in providing a seal without sliding into one's mouth -- without 1) digging into the bridge of one's nose so deep that it almost cuts the skin...

  • Out of options(?)

I'm on my 6th mask (3 nasal, 2 full-face, 1 hybrid) and 2nd CPAP (Remstar Plus M, with humidifier) since June 2008, and my doctor (sleep specialist) and equipment supplier are stumped -- I still average 4-6 hours' sleep each night. • Have issues with insufficient water to last through the night

I recently had to use another CPAP machine that did not have the humidifier and afterwards I would rather have the humidifier any day over the non humidifier. Without the humidifier my nose...

  • Re: Respironics m series heated humidifier

At which level are you using the heat (1-5 on the M Series)? It is also possible that you are losing humidification in the tubing on the way to your mask - do you wake up with water in your CPAP tubing? It is also possible that the humidifier is defective and in that case you should call the company...

  • Informal Poll - Humidifier or No?

Ok so who uses humidification with CPAP and who does not? If you use humidification, is it cool air or heated? If you do not use a CPAP humidifier, why not? Do you find yourself to be stuffier or more congested than usual?

  • Re: Secretions

We have received a lot of information in references to the side effects of CPAP machines and how they can be stopped or alleviated... a major side effect chronic congestion and increased mucus production is due to the fact that your body, when coming in contact with air not at the desired humidity level...
