When we started this company our main goal was to assist those who had no insurance or had large insurance deductibles, obtain their sleep apnea equipment at the most affordable price and today that is still our main focus. We have gone beyond that by providing state of the art communication options, qualified staff to answer all of your questions and a large inventory of medical equipment for you to purchase. Jeff started his career in 1984 as a police officer in Chesterfield County, VA. Five years later he was given an opportunity to work in the healthcare industry. He had found his calling. After years of working for the national homecare companies, he decided to focus his attention on the uninsured and under-insured. In 2004, he and his sister, Sherry Burgess, started CPAP Supply USA, which has become the second largest Internet provider of sleep apnea equipment in the country. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time at his lake house in North Carolina, boating, jet skiing and spending time with his family.
Paula has been with CPAP Supply USA since 2007. She began her career in our Customer Service department. She next held the position of Purcashing and Inventory Control Specialist until she was promoted to Center Manager. In this role Paula uses many of the skills she has acquired over the years in management within the food and retail industry. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends while trying new recipes and watching football.
Jennifer moved from Connecticut to Richmond, VA in 2002 to continue her education at Virginia Commonwealth University. She graduated from VCU in December 2011 with a BS degree in Criminal Justice. Jen started with CPAP Supply USA in January 2006 as a sales associate but with her natural leadership abilities was quickly promoted to Customer Service Manager. She brought over 10 years experience in the customer service sector and her immense knowledge of sleep disorder therapy to CPAP Supply USA. In the new position as Inside Sales Representative Jen is responsible for Ambulatory Services, Hospice centers, Specialty Hospitals and Correctional Sales. Jen is a true leader and continues to cultivate the department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, yoga, reading, running, and watching hockey.
Monica has worked in the health care industry over 15 years, 10 of those years in Durable Medical Equipment and respiratory care services within the administrative sector. Her durable medical equipment background includes managing daily operations as a branch manager for a national DME company to include staff, billing, accounts payable, training, reconciliations, and all office systems. Monica has had extensive training in the Medicare and Commercial insurance divisions. Although Monica holds a degree in Business Administration, her desire is to increase her knowledge in the eCommerce field. In her current position, Monica concentrates on website content and overall project management of site development, campaigns, and other tasks related to site traffic. Monica has been married for 17 years and has two boys.
Jonathan has been working for CPAP Supply USA since April 2011 as a Customer Service Representative. He has worked in the retail field for many years making great strides in the lost prevention field and customer service with a national retail chain. Jonathan aids customers in site navigation, order entry, and product selection. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Brandi came to the CPAP Supply USA team with a background in the hospitality industry so she knows a thing or two about great customer service. Processing orders and prescription requests are Brandi’s major responsibilities but she is willing and has provided support in other departments as needed. Brandi enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves baking and decorating theme cakes for events as a weekend hobby. Brandi has a “bucket list” which includes traveling to France and Africa in the near future.
Carol began working with CPAP Supply USA in 2011. She works in our customer service department. She enjoys talking with our patients and helping them with their CPAP supply needs. Mother of two daughters, that she enjoys spending time with, as well as her grandchildren . She also likes cooking, baking, relaxing at the pool, and church activities.
Shannon is one of our newest team members, bringing 7 years of experience in the customer service sector. With several years under the belt as an assistant in the material handling department for a contracting firm, Shannon crafted customer management skills which lead to the customer service field. Already an essential part of the team, Shannon is willing to assist in any area deemed necessary to ensure customers receive the best possible service. Shannon takes pleasure in outdoor activities and road trips to adventurous new destinations with family and friends in her spare time.
Bill has been with CPAP Supply USA since February 2006 as the Product Manager. He manages all aspects of our shipping department including the supervision of order execution and reconciliation, stock maintenance, and all related shipping and inventory needs. Bill leads the entire team with sound determination when it is time for inventory; and he wants accuracy! This characteristic is exactly what the task calls for and Bill delivers. Currently, Bill is on the Customer Service team where he continues to deliver quality performance in each task. Our Rental Program and Returns Management systems are also coordinated by the endlessly talented Bill Allen. When he is not hard at work with us, he enjoys traveling to New York City and Ocracoke Island North Carolina as well as spending time with family and friends.
Kandace joined CPAP Supply USA in late 2012 and quickly acclimated to our joyous environment while bringing a great sense of humor and an infectious smile. Customer service, retailing, and delivery management are just a few areas of proficiency Kandace possesses. Since joining the customer service team Kandace has also worked in our shipping department to assist with packaging and labeling therefore she is no stranger to hard work. While Kandace, better known as Kandi, isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking, writing poems as well as songs and simply having fun.
Marcina began working at CPAP Supply USA in July 2007 as a Product Distribution Clerk. She assists with sorting, packing, labeling, and shipping orders in our shipping department. Besides ensuring quality control during the shipping process, Marcina also assists with inventory control. She enjoys spending quality time with her family as well as reading e-books and articles on the web about graphic design (a passion of hers) and do it yourself projects.
Sue has worked with CPAP Supply USA since November of 2011 and quickly became an essential part of our growing family. With previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry and 10 years in the accounting sector, Sue has proven abilities of success. As our Accounts Receivable Clerk, Sue handles all incoming invoices, coordinating payments with our vendors and accounts payable department. Sue also takes on the role of Administrative Assistant handling supply orders, office equipment assessments, and much more when necessary. Reading World War II novels and traveling to sunny destinations are just a couple of Sue’s hobbies. With two kids sent off to college, Sue and her husband find plenty of time to enjoy traveling and each other.
