I've had this about a week now, and love it. Bought it because it's time for a new mask, and last one was "fine", but I wanted to know what else was out there. When it's time to replace this one, I won't look for other options - I will simply re-order what I currently have.
Extremely light in weight, and maintains it's seal without strapping, strapping, strapping the thing to my head. I do not have leakage, and I do not have deep strap lines on my face in the morning.
It's not pictured well in the photos, but the way it works is there are two tubes about the size of small hollow ear plugs with holes at the end that go into your nostrils. They are made out of very thin and completely flexible plastic - literally the thickness of a super sturdy plastic bag, but even more flexible. The air comes through, expanding the "plugs" and sealing them inside the nostrils. Because the airflow internally creates the seal, the strap across the back of your head is almost irrelevant. Still need it, but it simply holds the overall mask in place, and has nothing to do with creating the seal.
The only people I can see who MAY have issues with this mask would be those who (1) don't like anything directly in their nostrils (2) those who habitually take their masks off in their sleep (because this one would be very easy to remove), or (3) those who prefer the airflow through the mouth. I don't fall into any of those categories, which is probably why I'm completely hooked on this design.
However, if you're removing your mask and you're certain it's because of feeling claustrophobic, or the tightness of your current straps hurt, or the weight of your current mask feels heavy, I'd suggest you take a serious look at this one. It's minimal size, minimal weight, and minimal pressure against your face / back of your head might alleviate your impulse to take it off while you're asleep.
Hope this helps. Good Luck on your search!!
