Prescription Policy Change - A Letter to Our Customers

Effective July 14, 2009 at 5:00PM EST

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective July 14, 2009 CPAP Supply USA, Inc. will require prescriptions for all CPAP Machines, CPAP Masks, and CPAP Humidifiers. Under the current FDA guidelines CPAP Masks and CPAP Humidifiers are considered Class II Medical Devices which require a Physicians Order to be on file. Any company selling CPAP Machines, CPAP Masks, or CPAP Humidifiers without a Physicians Order will face strict consequences from not only the FDA, but the Equipment Manufacturers as well.

We value our customers and want to do whatever we can to make it as easy as possible for you to purchase your sleep therapy equipment. Please refer to our Prescription Policy for further clarification on what is required on the prescription. We have a staff dedicated to assisting you in obtaining your prescription in the event you do not currently have one.

Once we have your prescription on file you will no longer be required to provide one on any future orders. Most patients can obtain a Physicians Order or Prescription from their Primary Care Physician or your Sleep Lab. If you currently have a copy of your original prescription, we will be glad to accept it for all current and future orders.

If you have purchased a CPAP machine from our company in the past, we already have your prescription on file and can ship your order immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and hope that you will allow us to assist you with all you Sleep Apnea needs.
