After a few weeks, it starts leaking where the sleeve joins the tubing. Seems to be a design flaw. But I love the light, quiet tubing, so I duct tape the leaks & will buy it again in six months.

When I got my ResMed S9, the slimline tubing came with it and was really good and light. Very satisfactory. However, the technician warned me that I need to be very careful with the joint and remove the tubing only by the rubber end, not by the tube itself - so I did it just that way. Now, there is a significant leak and the tube has to be replaced. Looks like this has been a problem before and ResMed has done nothing. I think I will just go back the regular, cheaper tubing which is heavier but a whole lot more dependable. ResMed needs better quality control or charge much less for this crappy tubing!!!

Same problem as others within 2-3 months the tubing cracked near the tubing connector. Duct taped both ends and it has been working for 18 months.

2012-02-23_I bought 3 tubes a year a ago they starts leaking where the sleeve joins the tubing after 3 months of use. The tube is thin but cheap. I will tried to find another substitude. This tube is made so we have to replace it often. Money grab!!

Every one of these stupid thin cheap Slimline hoses has developed leaks, tiny pin hole leaks in various places along their length. I am so tired of having to duct tape expensive hoses when my 10 year old hose is still leak free! The old hose is heavier ( which I like because it doesn't bounce and slap me when I turn over) and seems to put through a larger volume of air, which makes sense because it's larger diameter. I am making the 30 Mike round trip next week to my RESP care company to show them what junk their supplier is sending.

Its a great hose. I buy a new one ever 4 months. I don't find it sanitary to use longer then that. Never had 1 rip or get holes. I did use a cheaper one that split where the connector was. I just cut and screwed back on end cap/connector.

This tubing is great. I have used it for about a year. I have a dental bridge and with this tube I have no problems at all. With the less flexible tubing it causes me pain and problems with my dental bridge. I will never go back to the old tubing. If it was not for this tubing I would have stopped using my CPAP machine.

The tubing that came with my machine has lasted me over 5 years. Yep. I just keep it clean weekly and it's fine. My DME gave me, well, allowed me to (overpay) for some aftermarket brand after 6 months but it's awful and barely fits the machine. Is heavy and inflexible. The only reason I replaced my tube was a Summer holiday in an old B&B and got home to find my tubing smelt all musty and I had a upper respiratory infection for almost 3 months. Keep your tubes clean and always check the filter on the air conditioning in your hotel room!

i find the tubing too short. Wish there was an extension tubing that could be added. Dorothy
