I was so excited when I received this; I was certain that this would be an answer to my prayers. I read all the great reviews, viewed the pictures, it looked so comfortable and non-invasive (which I really loved!!!) They asked my if I wanted to purchase the insurance (just in case I didn't like it); I opted "no" because I was so certain that I would...WRONG!!! Very uncomfortable for me. The nasal pillows are very uncomfortable. It allows too much air through the tubing and constantly dries your nose out, even if you use nasal saline solution. Needless to saay I 100% regret not purchasing the insurance! Granted, different things work for different people; one persons junk is another persons treasure. My main suggestion is to please at least learn from my mistake and purchase the insurance so that you will have the option of sending it back if you're unsatisfied. I sure wish I had that option right about now!

I echo the comments of the above, I have used a CPAP for 9 years now, and this is the only type of equipment I could tolerate. I used to fight with wearing my equipment and now I can't go to sleep without it, I love it. I don't use any headgear just a velcro strap behind my head. If you have long hair or can't tolerate all the straps, this is a good mask to own.

Fantastic little mask/pillow

I have been a CPAP user for 8 years and am 99% compliant. I have used probably a dozen different masks over the years and this is the one I have settled on. It is the least obtrussive and most comfortable. I use it withour headgear but rather just circle it around my head, fastening the two tubes together with velco in the back of my head. With so little equipment, there is no tangling, dislodged headgear, bulky masks, or leaky mask edges. With my self-designed solution, the company could improve the product by reinforcing the tube section where I Velcro the tube together, because after about three months it begins to crimp, but my insurance company replaces my equipment 4X/yr so it works for me. Good luck.

Nasal Aire II is the gold standard of pillow type masks.

I love this mask. It's the only one that doesn't start making me feel claustrophobic. It's comfortable and so easy to wear.

This works great with NO mask / strap. Bring the hoses up from the head board, behind you and the weight of it keeps it in your nose. Just let the hoses hang down on each side of your face. They need to make XXL prongs in both I & II.

I have been a CPAP user for 6 years and except for trying the Swift for her this has been the only mask I have used. Like some of you I only uses the one piece of velcro around my head and the small pieces to hold the tubes together. I continue to use the nasal aire I (original) as I find the prongs are too large on the nasal aire II, not tapered like the nasal air I. I occassionally have dry eyes/nose but use drops for my eyes and gel for nose if problem becomes really uncomfortable. But feel this is best mask style available and certainly least cumbersome.

The only mask I'll wear... consistent fit and experience, lasts 4-6 months before tubes start to disintegrate. Good for side sleepers or toss and turners! I've been a cpap/apap user for over 15 years and gave tried dozens of masks. 5 stars...

I have been using mine since 2003 and it works best for me. I do have a full face Respironics mask I use when I'm dealing with sinus issues and stuff nose. But otherwise using this mask with my heated humidifier things work out just great!
