This is potentially good system but the marketing strategy is, in my opinion, unsafe for users; and they lose money the way they have set it up. One can replace the nasal pillows (prongs)every two months, and the six foot tube every four months, and the head gear every six months under most insurances. The problem is that the small 1/2" tubing that is connected to the nasal prongs and into which one breathes almost directly can only be replaced as part of the headgear set, i.e. every six months. I have been using the system long enough to discover that the small tubing should be replaced probably as often as the six foot tubing or even better every two months. It turns black by six months and I believe has caused me to come down with a new and seemingly permanent head cold, close to sinusitis, even if one washes the tubing as directed. It is bizarre to change the six foot tube more often than the 1/2" tube that has very close contact with ones breath and accumulates moisture, bacteria a very narrow moist space. The company that makes it, will not do anything about it. I have asked them to simply sell the 1/2" tubing seperately so that one does not have to wait for six months to replace the head gear. If this were done, I have been informed that this tubing would be covered for insurance replacement along with the nasal prongs to which they are physically attached is use. (The 1/2" tubing is not even attached to the headgear.) When I asked them to do this, they gave me a free 1/2" tube for my trouble and did nothing else. I think the FDA should look into whether this is endangering users health. I am shopping for a new system right now.

I love this mask but I wish that the tubes could be replaced without replacing the whole mask

"I have been using this mask for 2 years now its the only one that doesn't irritate me to no end with leaks and leaving marks on me when I wake.

I have used this system since 2003 and like using it but agree that we should be able to purchase the 1/2" tubing without the headgear. I don't use the part that goes over my head because I find it messes up my hair. I also find myself having sinusitis and allergy problems that I never had before. In the morning it takes me about 1 1/2 hours before my head is cleared and I actually have to use Zertec D to breathe

Love that this mask has all sizes, very comfortable and doesn't leak.

Best and worst of nasal pillows. If only the manufacturer would learn from it and redesign. The best - the nasal prongs are the best fit I've ever had and I used it for about 10 years. The 'bolo' style can be used without any head gear at all, no headaches or crushed hair. The worst- the 1/2" tubes are made from a plastic that hardens when it contacts skin oil. That's right, the tube starts to harden right away and in 6 months it is rigid and will not flex. If you know what the plastic is, you can probably replace it for a few dollars but I never located a vendor. I did sew together fabric covers to cover the tubes and they stayed soft for years! So, wake up, Innomed, and fix this design!

This is a great idea for people who don't like that "smothered" feeling when using a nasal mask. However, this is a really poor unit for several reasons. Mainly the headgear doesn't come with clear instructions on how to assemble it together and after having several people try, I still can't get it to assemble like the picture. Also, the tubes are so huge, almost the width of a garden hose. There is no way that anyone can use this unit without the head gear as it says because the tubes would keep falling off. I would not recommend this product unless they made the tubes smaller and used an easier headgear to assemble.

I have used this mask off and on for 5 years and this is a GOOD PRICE. This is probably the only mask that will never leak and I mean never. You need to rinse the tubing once a week and use only mild soap or it can discolor over time, but I had one for over a year. You do not need the head strap. Wear it oxygen canula style and just tie the back. it stays put. You'll love it.

This is still my favorite mask. I tried the pillows but they push against my nose. I wear it behind my ears and clamp it back there with one of the black straps they give and pull it around in front like a nasal canula and I'm good to go .

Ever 6 months I did to replace head-straps where out. Other than that the whole system works great.
