Have a 5 yr old not so stylish Respironics that worked fine and planning to upgrade to this one and keep the old one as back-up. The A-flex makes a very comfortable breathing experience.

The Same customer who gives a 1 star rating over and over should get a life and grow up. I have used Respironics machines for years and this one ids the best yet. Super quiet, A flex works better than the res med solution IMHO. Now if Respironics could make a mask that works as well as the res med offerings... all would be good... I use a Quattro full face with my system 1 auto.... best of both worlds...

I've been using a CPAP for over 12 years. 2 months ago I started using the Philips Respironics System One Auto CPAP. Its a good machine. It definitely runs quietly. My only concerns are; I get a slight wheezing sound when I exhale, and as the night progresses, air is forced from around the seals on the mask producing a gurgling sound. I did not have these concerns with my previous CPAP. I am, however, in the process of trying out other mask types that will hopefully eliminate my concerns.

machine works well...can reco, the mask
(quatro) full face leaves a bit to be desired. Longevity before leaking is main issue. Must constantly adjust to stop air leaking. Wakes one up on occasion.
I see that others have made same/similar comments. This issue needs to be resolved and or addressed.

I've used this for about 1 1/2 years and I'm completely satisfied with it's performance.
Very quiet when running. The humidifer (50 Series non-heated tube) works like a charm as well. A lot folks don't realize that the room humidity level effects the performance of the machine's humidifier. Keep this in mind.
Very much recommend this machine!

I've had mine for just over a year. Flawless. My only problem is the face mask leaking and keeping me awake. Not the machine's problem. Like it much and know it is very good for my health.

I have used my machine for about 2 years. It keeps running out of water on med (3) setting and the dry air wakes me up. The machine also makes a different noise when the water gets low and drives my husband crazy. Any idea what is wrong?

Have had mine for 2 years and have no complaints so far. I just got diagnosed with sleep apnea 2 years ago and this is the 1st and only one I've used. I have two residences and I am going to order another one for second residence.

Mine is about two years old and started failing a few months ago. At this point, it is useless and I am told (by Medicare) it is out of warranty and I must pay to fix it. My provider has not been overly helpful. I believe I was given a 'loaner' when the first unit they gave me failed right away.
I think I will buy my own and not be forced to take what (Medicare) gives me.

Have a Phillips Respironics REMstarPRO M series - In the middle of the night it simply fails to blow air leaving me suffocating. Called the manufacturer regarding this defect, and they were unwilling to provide a non-defective replacement. They also claimed that they had no reported issues --- but judging from other internet reviews it appears this unit is not the only one with the defect.

I've had this CPAP machine for 5 years. It has worked wonderful all these years but it finally died. I don't think five years of using it every night all night long is a bad service record. Now my worry is that I won't get another machine as awesome as this one.

I got mine about 1-1/2 years ago, and about 6 months ago it started sounding like I was in a wind tunnel. After that it started making a high pitched sound. I'm getting rid of it. It's possibly the worst machine I've ever had.
