On April 9, 2024, a federal district court issued a consent decree against Philips in relation to the brand's 2021 recall of their DreamStation CPAP machines and other models. The decree stated that the company must implement a recall remediation plan and temporarily cease production and sale of new Philips CPAP machines until certain requirements are met.
