Around 40% of CPAP users and almost all bilevel users lose treatment pressure through their mouths, either by mouth breathing or mouth leak. This pressure loss can result in flu-like symptoms, less effective therapy, and disrupted sleep. The Ultra Mirage full face mask stops this loss thereby improving comfort and therapy.
If you have frequent nasal congestion or just want a mask that you can wear when you have allergies or a cold, the Ultra Mirage full face mask is the answer.
New forehead support has four adjustment positions to optimize seal and patient comfort.
New flexible forehead pads conform to the contour of the patient's forehead to enhance stability and comfort.
Proven Mirage cushion technology provides an excellent seal without tight headgear so patients don't have to face pressure sores and discomfort.
New Set & Forget headgear needs fitting only once so patients don't need to adjust headgear every time they put their mask on.
New top and bottom headgear clips make putting the mask on and taking it off fast and easy so patients have less fuss and more confidence.
Superior airflow and built-in air vents provide excellent CO2 washout to ensure effective therapy, even at low pressures.

I have used a Mirage mask of this type for a number of years, and I really do like them. But this particular model does have that weakness where the upper headgear connects with the rest of the mask at the top. My older version was not adjustable, and it never broke. The adjustability on this newer one (one year old) was nice, and the winged design solved a pressure-point problem on my face, but these features do lead to this physical weakness where the parts connect. The design is not convenient for travel for the same reason. So, given all of that I have to agree that the inability to replace the weak part really does suck! That said, the mask itself has worked so well for me for such a long time that I'm going to stick with it. This version is an improvement over the last one, and perhaps the next version will address this issue.

Have used this mask for three years -- works well, with one weakness -- the joint at the bridge of the nose eventually breaks -- duct tape then works for a while, until the wife says "get a new one, already!" You've got to find your fit, or you'll have small leaks at the base of the nose near the eyes, but once you do, it works fine. I'm on my third fourth one.

As mentioned by others, the stress points crack bridge above the nose was the first to break. Duct tape works but the wife does not like it. The gell piece around the mouth is extrememly comfortable. The elbow at the mouth needs to be reinforced....once it starts to crack, get the super glue because the duct tape is too bulky. I will not get this mask again. I am on my 4th mask.

Mask is fine! Avaiablity of replacement parts sucks! The stress points are going to break at forehead bridge adjustment! Going to try another Brand!

Have to agree. I've had 3 in the past 6 years. The weak point always breaks. The shaft connecting the forehead pad to the mask is too weak! Wish they would make this titanium or something. 3rd one broke last night. This time I'm trying another brand.
