I use a standard pillow case on mine. Works fine.

The description states these pillow cases are made of polycotton. This is not the case! The material on the packaging states 100% polyester. The fabric feels 'plasticy'and almost waterproof. It does not breathe and makes for an uncomfortable night's sleep - particularly in summer in Florida! Would not recommend.
